Purchased the ‘Click Start – My First Computer’, and after opening, noticed the main base needed large batteries or an AC adapter, while the keyboard needed batteries, ( Keyboard uses only AA+ ), as well. So, if you are thinking of purchasing the Click Start – you may wish to go the extra mile and get an adapter as well – Will save on having to get batteries for both! 1-2-3 connect it and let the fun of learning begin!

The adapter really is a must have for the clickstart. You can use batteries, but it takes four at a time, and it’s really not worth the hassle. I bought the cheapest batteries I could find, and it still cost me two bucks. I only did that because Walmart didn’t have the adapter avail and I didn’t want to make my child wait a week for this to ship. Keep in mind, the keyboard still requires batteries and doesn’t have the option for an adapter, but that uses less power. I’ll just use rechargables for it. So, I figure w/in a month, the adapter will pay for itself.

Bought this to go along with my grandson’s leap frog click start computer. It plugs into the back of the game terminal so that you don’t have to rely on batteries to keep the fun going. I recommend this because it works!
